Ltd (eConn), Mohali was awarded the 'CII -Exim Bank Commendation Certificate for Strong Commitment to Excel' for the year 2008 on Thursday, becoming the first Software Company in SMB segment in tri-city to win this prestigious award. The Award confirms that eConn is fully committed to build an excellent business model and is following world business standards in - Leadership, policy and strategy, people, customer driven processes, partnerships, people results, customer results, society results, and over all performance. CII and Export-Import (EXIM) Bank of India jointly established the Award for Business Excellence in 1994 with the aim to enhance the 'Competitiveness of India Inc.' The Award is based on the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) Model for Excellence. It is today recognized as one of the most prestigious awards in India for Business excellence. The rigorous process of assessment of two months for SMB, gives a clear picture of SWOT for the organization.
