Gemba Kaizen within Econn Family-Bringing Continuous Improvement

The First Gemba Event was “Laughter Session” and it was held on 4 October 2008.
About Gemba
The Gemba Kaizen is a term which is used very commonly in Japan and the concept of Gemba Kaizen became popular all over the world with publication of famous book, “A Commonsense Low-cost Approach to Management” and this book was written by Masaaki Imai. The English meaning of word Gemba is “Shop Floor” and Kaizen stands for “Continuous Improvement”
Events Under Gemba Within Econn Family
Gemba team has organized many events within eConn family since its inception and active members of Gemba team are Navjot, Reena, Kunal, Ankush, Deepti and Gurpreet. The key events organized by Gemba team are Laughter Session, Joint Lunch, Most Creative Desktop, Puzzle of the Month, Table Tennis Tournaments, Ludo Tournament, Carom Tournament, Fifth Saturday Meeting, Diwali Celebration, Christmas and New Year Celebration, Lohri Celebration, eConn Foundation Day Celebration, Holi Celebration. The winners of sports events are given prizes on fifth Saturday meeting of eConn family.
