
eConn family gathered under one roof for annual review of their performance and assertion of their core values on Jan 31, 2009, and the theme of this quarterly meeting was ‘The Journey of eConn’. In the beginning of this event, a comic video about making of journey of eConn sent the members of eConn family members into peals of laughter.
The most significant thing about this quarterly meeting was the video on ‘The Journey of eConn” which is a brilliant work of Pardeep, the creative head of eConn family. The testimonials of clients about their experience with eConn were recorded in video and core values of eConn were explained by members of eConn family in the same video. The highlights of achievements of eConn since its inception were also recorded in the video related to ‘journey of eConn’

The leaders of eConn Ankush, Gurpreet, Neha, Anshul, Navjot, Rajwinder, and Vinay used this exclusive opportunity to present their ideas on different innovative subjects such as Competency Matrix, Kaizen identification and execution Method, and updates on preparing for audit of Great Place to Work with (www.greatplacetowork.in), Internal Technology Cluster formations, Core Values of Organization, and Change of process of Internal Audit.
During quarterly meeting, everyone got a clear understanding about the core values of econn through a practical example related to importance of core values in life of every individual and they pledged to work together for achievement of core values of organization. eConn has maintained seven core values to make it a larger and stronger organization and it has made it flexible enough to keep them updated.
Miss Gurpreet gave a detail description about activities, budget, and achievements of Gemba, a group that provides the atmosphere of home away from home to eConn family members during their presence in the workplace, through a small presentation. An open feedback session about activities held after the presentation on Gemba and members of eConn family gave their beneficial feedback and ideas in that.

To cultivate values of team spirit and cooperation among team members, the controllers of party Mr Jitender and Miss Reena made provision for several team building games such as dog and bone, tambola, musical chair, pass the parser, tongue twister for whole team. Mr. Kamaldeep, Sr. Project Manager asserted that the annual meeting for review of performance of company provides a platform for realizing our weaknesses and mistakes and for thinking about the ways to amend them.
Mr. Atul, Senior Project Manager of eConn family said that the event of annual meeting is helpful for increasing communication, instituting clear expectations, strengthening good performance, correcting unsatisfactory performance, and promoting a spirit of cooperation and teamwork.” Mr. Navjot appraised that this gives us time to do major get together and know each other.
Moreover with open and transparent results shown, every one feel connected and work with same target and vision in coming days. More colors were added to the quarterly meet when eConn family members shake their bodies on dance floor and meeting continued till evening. Complete eConn family resolved following targets for coming one year as long term target.
- Implementation of all core values into culture of eConn. As most of them are already present but we will emphasize more on Customer Delight for coming four months.
- eConn will undergo a audit of Great Place to work with by end of this year.
- Starting more leadership opportunities in coming days and this must be propagated to every one at all levels.
